Cheap and Easy Projects
Thursdays always turn my attention to the weekend. I have a rare free weekend coming up, so am excited to find a project to do. Perhaps you also have some free time...or are at a loss as to how to keep that play date a fun experience. Enter DIY blogs!
Dollar Store Crafts has a great idea if you still have leftover plastic eggs from Easter. They show you how to make a fun centerpiece with tealights.

Sandal Season is Here!
Sandal season is definitely on my mind, especially after my Paris trip where they had such cute shoes! There were so many types of shoes to see: ballet flats, t-strap sandals, gladiators, and more. Paris Flea Market
I just returned from a vacation in Paris, and had such a great time wandering the streets and seeing the beautiful buildings, fun fashion, and indulging in afternoon wine. Oh, and the coffee...mmmmmmmmm...

Pantone Colors for Fall 2011
I love the entire palette that Pantone has put together for Fall 2011 Fashion Trends. These colors were taken from the runway at New York Fashion Week this February. Honeysuckle was named as Pantone's Color of the Year for 2011.
I can't wait to see what will show up in stores this fall. I might need to hunt down some nail polish in the neutral shades of coffee liqueur and nougat to coordinate with both the muted and bright colors above!
